Cub Scout Pack 95 is located at North Stratfield School and is sponsored by Fairfield Park and Recreation. With Approximatley 70 Cubs, Pack 95 is one of the largest and most active programs in Fairfield.

In Cub Scouting you'll have lots of fun, adventure, and activities with your den and pack. But there's more to it than that. Cub Scouting is more than something to do. It's all about the boy you are and the person you will become.

This is an informational meeting for both adults and children interested in learning about and joining Cub Scouts.

To all Pack 95 Scouts - Every Cub Scout who recruits a friend that registers will receive a special patch.

Hoyt Scout Reservation, West Redding, CT, Sept 25

Cub Scouts will enjoy a day of outdoor fun, including relay races, archery and BB guns.  Bring the whole family for a great day of Cub Scouting.  The event is at Hoyt Scout Reservation in West Redding.

Registration will begin at 12:30, the events will start at 1:15 and conclude at 5:00 p.m.

Every Cub Scout registered will get an event patch.

This event is designed to give the boys a sample of the shooting sports.  Please note that they will not be able to earn the BB guns or archery belt loops.  Cost is $5 per Cub Scout but parents and siblings are free.

Water will be available but bring your own water bottle and snacks.

Webelos 2 Fall Camporee

Putnam Park, West Redding, CT, October 15-17

For all Webelos 2 Scouts and parents, the 2010 Fall Camporee will be at Putnam Park in West Redding.  The morning session on Saturday will consist of activities to assist the transition into Boy Scouts.  Webelos 2 will work on skills needed for the Boy Scout rank of Tenderfoot.  In the afternoon, the Webelos will participate in the program with the host troop.

This is an excellent opportunity to get the boys ready to become Boy Scouts.

There is a $10/ person fee and you will need to be sponsored by a Boy Scout Troop.  Troop 88 has already offered to sponsor any Webelos interested in attending.

The deadline to register is October 8.  Contact the Cubmaster to register.

Webelos Overnight Woods, Sept. 25-26, 2010

Webelos Overnight Woods (WOW)

Hoyt Scout Training Center, West Redding, CT Sept 25-26

For all Webelos and parents, the 2010 WOW will be at the Training Center in West Redding off of Simpaug Turnpike.  This event is designed to offer instruction on Webelos activity badges such as Outdoorsman, Geologist, Readyman, Forester and Whittlin Chip.

Saturday dinner for the webelos will be a foil meal that will be provided and be cooked in your campsite.  The Pack will work as a unit to provide and prepare all other meals.  Parents and leaders will need to work together to plan all the arrangements.

Registration and set up will begin at 10 a.m. and the program will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, and will finish after breakfast on Sunday.

There is a $10 fee/per camper.  The Pack will kick in $10/cub for any family registered by Sept 15th.

Scout Day at Lime Rock, Oct. 1-2

Scout Day at Lime Rock Park

Lime Rock Park, Lakeville, CT, Oct. 1-2

To start off the season with a roar, plan to join this easy camping event - just drive up and live out of the trunk of your car.  Prepare your meals or buy them at the track concessions.  An all-day program of amateur racing by some of the top rated drivers in stock sedans and open wheeled race cars will ensure you have plenty of entertainment.  Camp Friday night and then watch races Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost:  Cubs and siblings under age 10 - $7, Adults - $14

Fee includes an event patch, Friday night camping, Friday night adult leader social (Cracker Barrel), Saturday races and a full day spent at beautiful Lime Rock park.

Registration deadline is Sept. 23.  Contact the Cubmaster to register.
